Hi!
So I just finished shooting an NYU Student Thesis Film. It was extremely exciting! I played a young mother with Type 1 Diabetes who seeks out her birth daughter she had taken from her by the system at the age of 13. The reason Sharon Jacqueline Hamilton, my character, seeks Jackie out, her daughter, is because she has a 4 year old son who has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. Soooooo deep, right! Yeah! It was very challenging and such a blessing. I had no idea doing film was soo different than theater. I have soo much more respect for film actors now. It’s crazy!!! What a challenge and what an amazing opportunity!!!

Adults Coping With Type 1 Diabetes
So, I performed in a benefit for this AMAZING new not-for-profit organization ACT1: Adults Coping with Type 1 Diabetes. It was wonderful and we raised a nice amount of $$$! Yay!! I sang “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miz, of course and “The Rose”, the song Bette Midler made famous. Check out pics courtesy of Christina Conaty etc, below. http://www.act1diabetes.org/2010/11/16/life-is-a-cabaret/
Celebrating 10 Years!!! George, unofficial mayor of 132nd Street and a self-proclaimed expert on matters of the heart, believes love should never be taken seriously. He finally meets his match when he befriends a down-on-her-luck stranger who is not what she seems. A funny and heartfelt look at the romantic travails of three couples learning about love in 1930′s Harlem, this musical features a tuneful and jazzy period score by Harlem Renaissance songwriter J.C. Johnson, a colleague of artists such as Fats Waller, Bessie Smith, Ethel Waters and Billie Holiday.
